Our chairlady was able to attend the two day ward climate change committee workshop, on matters climate finance;FLOCCA, organised by The Kilifi County Department of Environment, climate change and forestry in collaboration with International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN – Research project ).

One of the major challenge facing our local community is the hazard of solid waste,illegal dumpsite and unsustainable waste recycling measures.the workshop played a vital role in enabling address of projects that will ensure our local community is empowered and we have a lasting solution for waste management.
