We recently had the privilege of attending the transformative World Association for Public Opinion Research Sub-Saharan Africa (WAPOR SAA) Regional Conference in Mombasa, where Kilifi County Government staff engaged with experts on opinion polling and sustainable development, highlighting the pivotal role of data-driven decision-making in shaping a brighter future.

HE Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir profound emphasis on the importance of credible information and the unwavering truth that “numbers don’t lie” deeply resonated with our team. Under HE Governor Gideon Maitha Mung’aro’s administration, we are committed to taking these surveys lessons seriously and applying them diligently .

Professor P.L.O Lumumba delivered a powerful and thought-provoking discourse on ICT systems and Pan-Africanism, urging Africa to develop its own servers for ownership and credibility, free from external influences. This call to action resonated strongly, inspiring us to champion self-reliance and integrity in our technological and polling practices.
