Our departmental CECM, Omar Said, together with chief officers from the departments of water, Hezekiah Mwarua, and Zamzam Ali Environment, accompanied H. Excellency Governor Gideon Mung’aro and deputy Governor H. Excellency Flora Mbetsa, among other top county officials, during day 2 of phase III county Mashinani in Malindi.
Day 2 of the 3rd edition of the county Mashinani was marked with enthusiasm, with members of the public getting prompt answers from the CECM for water in regards to the ambitious plan to upgrade the existing water infrastructure in Malindi, which includes the fixing of metres as well as the expansion of the water distribution network, which aims to provide a clean and reliable water supply for the people of Kilifi.
