Governor Gideon Mung’aro and his Deputy Hon.Flora Mbetsa, the CECM for water, Hon. Omar Said, together with chief officers Zamzam Ali in charge of environment and Hezekiah Mwarua in charge of water, attended day 1 of the county Mashinani phase 3 at Mapimo Polytechnic, Magarini sub-county.

The event, also attended by the CECMs and chief officers from other departments of the Kilifi County Government, provided a vibrant opportunity for the county government and, more importantly, the water department to comprehensively highlight the achievements of completed and ongoing water projects by outlining their objectives, budgets, timelines, and expected outcomes.

The interactive session equally provided a platform for the citizens of Magarini to give their views, ideologies, and advice on the best and most appropriate water and environmental projects that the people considered urgent.
