In the spirit of empowering our officers, Chief Officer Zamzam Ali and Director Kanundu Ngumbao convened a meeting with forest guards from the sub-counties, focusing on their duties, performance, and welfare. The importance of the Forestry Directorate in overseeing and managing the forest resources was highlighted during the discussions.
Key agreements were made to prioritize paramilitary training, provide necessary skills and tools to the guards, and ensure they are well-versed in relevant laws.
During the meeting, the Chief Officer emphasized the vital and unique role played by forest guards, acknowledging both challenges and opportunities.
