CECM for Water and Environment, Hon Omar Said, conducted an inspection of the progress of various water pipeline installations in Magarini sub-county. The projects include the installation of a 3-inch, 7.9km pipeline from Kotaya to Kanyumbuni to Chamari, a pipeline from Ruruma to Chamari, and another pipeline in Marafa ward, as well as a 2-inch, 2km pipeline from Bodoi to Imara in Garashi ward, among others.
The projects are currently in advanced stages of completion, and once finished, they will provide clean and safe water to the areas of Ruruma, Daima, Chamari, Kotaya, Bodoi, Imara, and their neighboring communities. These initiatives are part of numerous water projects that are currently underway in Magarini sub-county.
All of these efforts are a testament to Governor Mung’aro’s commitment to delivering clean, safe, and affordable water for domestic use to the people of Magarini and Kilifi at large.
