Representatives from Government agencies, Community Conservation Groups, Beach Management Units, Community Forest Associations, Women’s Groups and the private sector, came together to share different governance measures in the seascape and deliberate on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges for such practices.
Through the #ReSea project, implemented by IUCN ESARO and Mission inclusion, and supported by Global Affairs Canada, the working group aims at promoting inclusive, equitable and gender-responsive governance of coastal and marine resources for the betterment of biodiversity and people.
