Access to water is key in my development agenda and the goal is to enhance access to water for both human consumption, irrigation and livestock use. We plan to reduce the average distance to a watering point to less than 2Km per household.

Through the Department of Water, Environment, Climate Change & Solid Waste Management we have been implementing programs and projects to achieve this goal.

Today I will be commissioning Dam View Tsangatsini Phase 1 water project and launch phase II of the project. Together, let’s continue our journey towards a healthier, more sustainable future
