Today, Kilifi County Government through the Division of Environment, Forestry, Climate Change, and Solid Waste Management received assorted Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) from WWF-Kenya Circular Economy Initiative to support waste collection groups in Kilifi. The beneficiaries of this initiative are Ocean Sole Mamas and Western Plastics.
This partnership highlights our commitment to empowering community solid waste management groups and fostering a circular economy in Kilifi County. We encourage all members to stay organized and engage with us for capacity building.
We look forward to continuing collaborating with WWF-Kenya to integrate the informal sector into policy and enhance the waste management value chain through training and support.
